Hong Kong Heritage Museum

Because of my sister's History project, she and I went to Hong Kong Heritage Museum, a huge building opposite to Che Kung Temple KCR Station, in Shatin yesterday.

I was surprised by the size of the museum when I arrived. It contains three floors. Each floor's height is up to several meters so that it can allow some huge exhibition such as a fishing boat. In addition to gallery rooms, stairs, leisure areas and a courtyard are very large. The large space provides relaxing atmosphere to visitors.

Our target was a thematic exhibition called Hong Kong's Popular Entertainment. In this exhibition, a museum expert advisor led us to visit the gallery with full explanation. At the end of the tour, he raised a question for us to think ourselves: Under the impact of the Internet technology, how can we balance between our private time and interpersonal relations? He was really professional with good manner.

With the above satisfactory equipment and service, the admission fee is just HK$10 and free of charge on Wednesday. This is an example of highly qualified Hong Kong civil service.
